Drei neue Unternehmen vor Ort!

Wir freuen uns, euch über drei neue Geschäfte zu informieren, die im März 2024 ihre Türen im Coconat öffnen und damit zur dynamischen Atmosphäre unserer Gemeinde beitragen werden.

Kunstcafe:

Das Kunstcafe wird im März unter neuer Leitung wiedereröffnet, geführt von einem engagierten Team aus drei Personen. Felicitas Nadwornicek, ein Mitglied des Coconat-Teams und Bewohnerin des Hohen Fläming, wird mit Laura Schridde zusammenarbeiten, die sich auf nachhaltige Forstwirtschaftsprojekte spezialisiert hat. Pauline Reuter, eine professionelle Bekleidungsdesignerin und Schneiderin, wird das Team ergänzen und ihre Schneiderei Jofilia auf dem Gelände eröffnen.

Jofilia Tailor Shop:

Pauline Reuter, eine erfahrene Bekleidungsdesignerin und Schneiderin, wird Jofilia eröffnen, eine Schneiderei, in der Kreativität und Handwerkskunst im Vordergrund stehen. Diese Neueröffnung spiegelt das Engagement wider, unserer Gemeinde maßgeschneiderte Dienstleistungen anzubieten, und trägt zur Vielfalt des Angebots von Coconat bei.

Fotostudio und Galerie:

Das neue Fotostudio und die Galerie werden von Halina Hildebrand, einem Mitglied des Bad Belziger Kunstvereins, eingeweiht. Dieses Vorhaben soll unsere lokale Kulturlandschaft weiter bereichern.

Diese Unternehmungen sind ein wichtiger Schritt in Coconats kontinuierlichem Engagement, lokale Talente zu fördern und Einwohnern wie Besuchern einzigartige Erlebnisse zu bieten. Wir laden die Gemeinde ein, mit uns gemeinsam diese Einrichtungen zu begrüßen und ihre vielfältigen Angebote zu erkunden.

Three new on-site businesses!

We are pleased to inform you of three upcoming businesses scheduled to open their doors at Coconat in March 2024, further contributing to the dynamic atmosphere of our community.

1. Kunstcafe:
   • The Kunstcafe is poised to reopen under new management in March, led by a dedicated team of three individuals. Felicitas Nadwornicek, a Coconat team member and resident of Hoher Fläming, will collaborate with Laura Schridde, whose expertise lies in sustainable forestry projects. Adding to the team is Pauline Reuter, a professional clothing designer and tailor, who will also establish her tailor shop, Jofilia, within the premises.
2. Jofilia Tailor Shop:
   • Pauline Reuter, a skilled clothing designer and tailor, is set to open Jofilia, a tailor shop that emphasizes creativity and craftsmanship. This addition reflects a commitment to providing bespoke services to our community, contributing to the diverse offerings available at Coconat.
3. Photo Studio and Gallery:
   • The new photo studio and gallery space will be inaugurated by Halina Hildebrand, a member of the Bad Belziger Kunstverein. This venture aims to further enrich our local cultural landscape.

These projects are a part Coconat’s ongoing commitment to fostering local talent and providing unique experiences for residents and visitors alike. We extend our invitation to the community to join us in welcoming them and exploring the diverse offerings they bring.

What a wonderful year to Coconat – 2023

Dear Coconat Community,

Greetings from wintery Hoher Fläming! We trust your 2023 was as delightful as ours, filled with health, joy, and contentment. As we reflect on the year, here’s a ‚little‘ update on our ventures and exciting developments.

This year, we took a slightly gentler pace, still, our projects were far from dormant:

COCONAT Construction:
-Our focus shifted to smaller-scale projects, with notable progress on COCOLAB. and The Vault.
-A highlight was the Easter Subotnik, where an incredible team rejuvenated the building and doors. Nostalgic and reminiscent of Coconat’s early days!

University Collaborations: Initiating collaborations with Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and University of Applied Sciences and Arts, students explored incorporating solar panels on our historical buildings and reimagining the old stone barn into a modern seminar hotel, respectively.

-Mycelium Research:
COCOLAB. delved into fungal mycelium as a material, working with the local Institut für Lebensmittel- und Umweltforschung e.V. Exciting projects ahead, including sound-absorbing panels made from fungal material.

Awards and Recognitions:
-In July we were awarded by the ‚Land and People‘ competition organized by the Wüstenrot Stiftung, in Apolda
-Coconat received the Digital Places in the Land of Ideas award nomination for the Kunstwanderweg XR augmented reality project.
-We also achieved *star* classification by the German Tourism Association.

Sharing:
-Engaging in numerous events, we were speakers or co-organizers at prestigious conferences republica GmbH, the Brandenburg Camp TMB Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH , the Berlin-Brandenburg Coworking Festival 2022, the Coliving Conference in Amsterdam, the Potsdam Business Network and Business Festival, the Cross Border Coworking Conference in Montenegro, the Smart Country Convention, Coworking Europe in Porto and the Berlin Travel Festival

Local Impact:
-Coconat will continue to host events and to be a hub for local collaborations, hosting events like
-the Fläminger Kreativsause, which is now supported as a kulturellen Ankerpunkte for Potsdam-Mittelmark.
-We welcomed a new mayor in Bad Belzig and actively support @Smart Village e.V.’s innovative projects.

As we plan for the future, real estate development takes center stage, including a housing project for the common good, a seminar hotel, stilt houses, and more. Coaching with Social Impact GmbH supports our decision-making.

And lastly, our ever-growing family! We started with bees, then had chickens, and now, we’re excited to share that we have two horses (on loan, at least temporarily). Where will it all end?

The journey continues, and we’re grateful for your ongoing support.
