Travel Instructions

Coconat is located in the village of Klein Glien, just outside Bad Belzig in Brandenburg, 90km south-west of Berlin. It takes less than two hours to travel here from Berlin.

Train:

The RE7 regional train departs every hour from Berlin to Bad Belzig. You can catch it from all central stations: Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstraße, Hauptbahnhof, Zoologischer Garten, Charlottenburg or Wannsee. A single ticket from Berlin to Klein Glien costs €8.50, and can be purchased from all ticket machines (DB, S-Bahn, BVG).

From the Bad Belzig train station, there are several options for the last few kilometers to Klien Glien:

Local Bus:

The following buses run from the Bad Belzig train station to Klein Glien: Bus 588 / Bus 555*

By Bicycle:

Klein Glien is just 7km from Bad Belzig. From the train station, you can ride through the town and follow the B246 road west to Klein Glien. A slightly longer but nicer route is via the village of Borne.

By Foot:

There are many well-marked walking routes that bring you to Klein Glein. The walk takes at least 60 to 90 minutes. You’ll find a detailed map in front of the train station. A particularly nice route is the Kunstwanderweg (Art Walking Trail).

By Taxi:

Taxi rides must be booked in advance. The route Bad Belzig to Klein Glien costs about 15€.

From Berlin Airports

It is very easy and fast to get from the airport to Coconat by train. It costs €8.50 for a single ticket for the whole journey.

From Schönefeld SFX: Take the RE7 train directly from the airport train station, in the direction of Bad Belzig or Dessau. Get out at Bad Belzig, then take a local bus, bike, or taxi (see above).

From Tegel TXL: Take the bus X9 or 109 to either Charlottenburg or Zoologischer Garten train regional stations. From there, you can catch the RE7 train in the direction of Bad Belzig or Dessau. Get out at Bad Belzig, then take a local bus, bike, or taxi (see above).
