European Space Agency funding for Augmented Reality Hiking Trails Project Manager!

Deadline of the up to 60k funding is on February 25th.

Keen on Nature and AR? A great opportunity just popped up to start a project using AR mobile technology and satellite navigation to develop an innovative tourism product. The first prototype is supposed to be developed in the frame of the Smart Village project on the International Art-trail which crosses the property of Coconat in Brandenburg/Germany. There are great potential partners (in particular the Naturparkverein Fläming, Coconat, the network Virtual Reality Berlin Brandenburg, and ikusei) and a potential funding from the business development office and a super-cool grant from the European Space Agency!

The project doesn’t have funding yet and needs an enthusiastic person like you to write up the application.

suchst du noch nach einer guten Ausrede, um der nassdunklen Stadt (Berlin: 34 Meter ü.d.M) in unser weißes Winterwunderland (Hagelberg: 201 Meter ü.d.M.) zu entkommen? Wir planen im Februar zwei große Maleraktionen und brauchen dafür deine Unterstützung.
Natürlich lebt der Mensch nicht von Pinsel und Farbe allein, sondern auch von:

We are at it again, painting up a storm in our sleeping rooms! And of course we never simply paint – please expect:

Kamin und Sauna am Abend ? evening fires and sauna
Spaziergänge durch verschneite Wälder? walks through snowy forests
Schlittschuhlaufen (Inshallah!) ⛸️ ice-skating when possible
Treffen mit alten und neuen Freunden? meeting old and new friends

Some helpful info for you:

Je 8 Arbeitsstunden bedanken wir uns mit einen Coconat-Gutschein (beinhaltet: Übernachtung, Coworking und Küchennutzung)
You will receive a Coconat Voucher for every 8 hours you are there helping out! (includes: overnight, coworking, shared kitchen)
Natürlich erhälst du während der Arbeitstage Unterkunft und drei vegetarische Mahlzeiten pro Tag.
We will provide 3 yummy veggie meals the whole time you are helping
Bring Arbeitsklamotten sowie Bettbezüge (oder einen Schlafsack) und ein Handtuch mit.
Bring some clothes that can get dirty, sheets (or sleeping bag), and a towel.

We have a weekend of learning, growing and sharing planned.
What you can get involved with and learn along the way, workshops are free in exchange for your help:

WILD EDIBLE PLANTS – we are starting to catalogue everything we find on-site and around – guided walks lead by our garden team!
COMPOST TOILET – ever built one? Wonder how it works? Come on by, we are starting to build one this weekend!
SEEDLINGS – We have a lot to get in the ground this weekend – you reap what you sow – Help us PLANT – Help us EAT at harvest time!
WATERING SYSTEM – We’re creating a more sustainable and efficient watering system for the garden. Want to learn more about how this can work? Then you know…come by!

Für alle 8 Stunden, die Du uns im Garten hilfst, bekommst du einen Coconat-Gutschein! Inklusive einer Übernachtung in einem GLAMPINGZELT, Coworking Space und Nutzung der Gemeinschaftsküche.
KOSTENLOS schlafen – Wir haben viele Campingplätze und ein paar Zelte. Wir werden auch einen Schlafsaal auf unserem Dachboden haben. (Schlafsack und Handtuch mitbringen)
KOSTENLOS Coworking – Alle Helfer können natürlich unsere Coworking Spaces nutzen!
Essen €10/Tag Umkostenbeitrag – Unsere Köche bereiten 3 vegetarische Mahlzeiten pro Tag zu. Wir berücksichtigen natürlich Veganer. Für speziellere Diäten können wir Lebensmittel bereitstellen und würden je nach Aufwand um eine Spende bitten.

For every 8 hours you help us out in the garden, you will receive a Coconat voucher! –includes one night in a GLAMPING TENT!, coworking space, and using the shared kitchen.
Sleeping FREE – We have plenty of camping places and a few tents for grabs. We will also have dorm sleeping in our attic (bring a sleeping bag and towel)
Coworking FREE – All helpers can also use our coworking spaces while they are here!
Food €10/day – We will prepare 3 vegetarian meals a day. We can accommodate vegans as well. For other dietary restrictions we can make food, but may ask for a donation depending on the request.

*What’s Glamping you say? Well, it is a Glamorous Camping of course! Thanks to our friends at Urbanara it will indeed be a Glamorous experience! We are very happy to work with Urbanara, as they work directly with makers across the globe, and are fully transparent about the entire making process, and work in a sustainable way.
