Projekt Smart Village

Smart Village macht Bad Belzig und Wiesenburg, eine Stunde südwestlich von Berlin, zu einem Reallabor zur Erprobung digitaler Werkzeuge im ländlichen Raum.

Die Ausgestaltung des post-industriellen Zeitalters soll dabei aktiv von lokalen Akteuren gesteuert werden anstatt ihr Schicksal ohnmächtig in die Hände anonymer Konzerne zu legen. Der ländliche Raum hat dank moderner Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien den Stallgeruch der Provinzialität abgestreift und soll ein Innovationstreiber bei der Lösung wichtiger gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen sein. Damit folgt das Projekt strategischen Zielen der ´Zukunftsstrategie Digitales Brandenburg` mit der die Landesregierung verstärkt „Digitale Schaufenster und Praxislabore“ unterstützen möchte damit „Neuentwicklungen ´anfassbar` und übertragbar werden“

Smart Village nutzt die Möglichkeiten der Digitalisierung um das Landleben noch besser zu machen und den Hohen Fläming zum ´the place to be` für kreative, technik-affine und gründungsfreudige Menschen zu machen. Smart Village versteht sich als buntes Netzwerk von Menschen aus der Region für Menschen aus der Region und für alle Menschen die uns besuchen oder sich dauerhaft hier niederlassen möchten. Smart Village hat keinen Masterplan sondern lebt als Bottom-Up-Projekt von der Vielfalt lokaler Initiativen vor Ort. Obwohl das Projektbüro erst im Frühjahr 2019 seine Arbeit aufnehmen soll gibt es bereits eine Reihe von Teilprojekten lokaler Akteure in verschiedenen Phasen der Planung und Umsetzung.

Das Team von Coconat macht im Januar eine Auszeit in tropischen Gefilden. Im Februar sind wir für ausgewählte Teams und Events geöffnet. Wir sind auch zwischendurch jederzeit für Euch erreichbar und freuen uns auf Eure Anfragen.

This weekend is just the exciting beginning of working together with the Zukunftsgarten Grüner Flämingo! 19-21 May 2018 We have a weekend of learning, growing and sharing planned. What you can get involved with and learn along the way, workshops are free in exchange for your help: WILD EDIBLE PLANTS – we are starting to catalogue everything we find on-site and around – guided walks lead by our garden team! COMPOST TOILET – ever built one? Wonder how it works? Come on by, we are starting to build one this weekend! SEEDLINGS – We have a lot to get in the ground this weekend – you reap what you sow – Help us PLANT – Help us EAT at harvest time! WATERING SYSTEM – We’re creating a more sustainable and efficient watering system for the garden. Want to learn more about how this can work? Then you know…come by! Free GLAMPING* you say? Inklusive einer Übernachtung in einem GLAMPINGZELT, Coworking Space und Nutzung der Gemeinschaftsküche. KOSTENLOS schlafen – Wir haben viele Campingplätze und ein paar Zelte. Wir werden auch einen Schlafsaal auf unserem Dachboden haben. (Schlafsack und Handtuch mitbringen) KOSTENLOS Coworking – Alle Helfer können natürlich unsere Coworking Spaces nutzen! Essen €10/Tag Umkostenbeitrag – Unsere Köche bereiten 3 vegetarische Mahlzeiten pro Tag zu. Wir berücksichtigen natürlich Veganer. Für speziellere Diäten können wir Lebensmittel bereitstellen und würden je nach Aufwand um eine Spende bitten. English: For every 8 hours you help us out in the garden, you will receive a Coconat voucher! –includes one night in a GLAMPING TENT!, coworking space, and using the shared kitchen. Sleeping FREE – We have plenty of camping places and a few tents for grabs. We will also have dorm sleeping in our attic (bring a sleeping bag and towel) Coworking FREE – All helpers can also use our coworking spaces while they are here! Food €10/day – We will prepare 3 vegetarian meals a day. We can accommodate vegans as well. For other dietary restrictions we can make food, but may ask for a donation depending on the request. *What’s Glamping you say? Well, it is a Glamorous Camping of course! Thanks to our friends at Urbanara it will indeed be a Glamorous experience! We are very happy to work with Urbanara, as they work directly with makers across the globe, and are fully transparent about the entire making process, and work in a sustainable way.
